    happy lamp looks good

    Overall I'm happy with the lamp. It looks good. The materials and quality are nice. It is a nice compromise between a straight vertical lamp, and a full length arching lamp. Because it only arches halfway, the light/shade sits higher, while still allowing it to reach away from the wall and in to the room a bit. Works well for my space. The assembly process makes it difficult to center the arch with the base and keep the cord coming out the back. It's basically trial and error attaching the arch pole to the base pole hoping it will be centered, because if you rotate the base pole then the cord starts coming out the front. This could be resolved by making that joint swivel.
